The 2012 TUF Cultural Night took place on Saturday, Sep
15, at Pacific Palms in the City of Industry,
California. The theme is "Made in Taiwan - Food, Ecology
and Technology." A pre-show started at 4:30PM in the
lobby, featuring "Made in Taiwan" booth exhibitions.
Walong set up an I-Mei booth for demonstration of
I-Mei’s
 products.
Most of the guests gave positive feedbacks to I-Mei’s
products. The evening program started at 6:30PM. After
the dinner and fun games, the TUF invited Taiwan I-Mei
Foods, Co. Ltd.’s President Mr. Luis Ko to gave a
keynote speech.
Mr. Ko is an advocate for living a green lifestyle and is the CEO of I-Mei Environmental Protection Foundation. Mr. Ko shared his experience and passion in
Taiwanese food, environmental, and technology
industries. He said, about 10 years ago, I-Mei
first introduced the paper package for ice bar instead
of Styrofoam, and foam, and recycled 100% of I-Mei packagings. He strives to
advance Taiwan’s standing and competitiveness in
the global economy. The event ended at around
9:00PM.
