Teresita “Mama Sita” Reyes’ family ran the restaurant Aristocrat. Her mother, Doña Engracia Reyes, is known as the “Mother of Filipino Cooking”. Through her parents, Mama Sita learned that nothing could compare to the goodness of Filipino cooking at her early age. She was able to come up with countless recipes and innovative ways of preparing food. She never got tired of experimenting with different ingredients.
The legacy that Mama Sita left behind extends beyond the reach of her family to the Filipino people in general. Her passion that is to get authentic home-cooked Filipino food to Pinoys all over the world inspired her to create the famous Mama Sita’s line of sauces and mixes, which are all-natural quality and homegrown flavors with no artificial substitutes.
